Linn Kretzschmar

Linn joined the CERN Knowledge Transfer Group in April 2022 as Knowledge Transfer Officer working in the Business Development section. As such, she is involved in identifying, evaluating as well as promoting environmental application fields of various CERN technologies including high field magnets and coordinating corresponding industrial collaborations.

Prior to joining CERN, Linn was a Marie Skłodowska–Curie Ph.D. fellow at the Vienna University of Economics and Business where she was responsible for carrying out valorisation assessments for CERN technologies for the Future Circular Collider study. During her time as a lecturer and researcher, she conceptualized and taught university courses in the field of design thinking, innovation consulting, business planning and technology competence leveraging and carried out various innovation consulting projects for large and medium-sized companies. Specialized in innovation management, she is currently finishing her Ph.D. in the field of open innovation and crowdsourcing contests.

Linn holds a M.Sc. in international management and marketing from Copenhagen Business School and a B.Sc. in Business Administration and Economics from Humboldt University Berlin.
