Development of a detector module with DOI capability and with improved time resolution suitable for Whole Body PET.
This project investigates the improvement of timing performance in positron emission tomographs (PET). It studies the possible gain in timing performance using detector elements that measure the Depth of Interaction (DOI), through simulations and a prototype setup.
