The main goal of the project is to use the extensive know-how on spectroscopic imaging on the ASIC point of view to better understand the behaviour of high –Z sensors. A PhD student will be  hired to perform this study under the supervision of key players on the research field of high-Z material. High quality publications on the topic are foreseen.
