CERN launches its new programme designed to support for deep-tech startups

CVC Main logo

CERN Venture Connect (CVC) is designed to provide startups a fast, streamlined, and customised service. CVC aims to support deep-tech startups in all of CERN’s Member States and Associate Member States. The programme will help the founders succeed by giving them fast-track access to cutting-edge CERN technologies and partner investor companies or venture incubators that will provide further possibilities for investment, distribution, expert mentoring and service providers.

Initially developed for the Organization’s particle-physics programme, these state-of-the-art technologies have applications in various areas like metrology, interferometry, telecommunications, finance, quantum computing and smart grids which may be used to create game-changing solutions in the domains of healthcare, aerospace or environment.

In our first call, we're thrilled to present five state-of-the-art CERN technologies spanning a wide range of fields, from laser technology and cryogenics to data management and precision-synchronization.

With the tech, comes a CVC support ecosystem which includes multiple partners to help the startups succeed. Whether a startup needs support to find money, people, or ways to distribute its product or services, the programme will act as bridge to form key partnerships. The partner investors could help fund the startups stay ‘default alive’ for instance, which means that the business is able to achieve profits with its current resource pool.

Don’t miss out! Apply today to accelerate your entrepreneurship journey with CERN Venture Connect.
